For release on September 8, 2016:Continental Advisory Services, LLC (“CAS”) and New York Institute of Technology, (“NYIT”) are pleased to announce the success of the Opening Ceremony for Fall 2016’s MBA Executive Cohort. Some 120 Chinese C-level students arrived from Mainland China to partake in the NYIT’s unique EMBA program.

Jacob Yahiayan resides as an Executive Council Member at NYIT’s School of Management, and was a invited speaker discussing his M&A career in Mainland China and Asia.

For release on October 13, 2014:On behalf of Continental Advisory Services, LLC (“CAS”), Mr. Jacob H. Yahiayan, Managing Member, has been appointed as the Director of Administration to serve the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America.

The Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern) announced on October 9 that Mr. Yahiayan would function as the chief administrative officer of the Diocesan Center in New York City, its affiliated parishes and organizations, effective immediately. Mr. Yahiayan will bring his leadership experience in international finance and on the boards of major universities and cultural institutions to the management of the Diocese. Immediately prior to taking on the position of Diocesan Director of Administration, he was a managing member of Continental Advisory Services, LLC, a New York State-based family office.

During his 25-year career in international banking, Mr. Yahiayan has lived in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Born in Lebanon and raised in the U.S., Mr. Yahiayan received his Bachelor’s degree from New York University, and holds graduate degrees in Business Administration, International Management, and Education from New York Institute of Technology, the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in France, and CUNY Brooklyn College, respectively.

Throughout his career, Mr.Yahiayan has had a strong interest in education and institutions of higher learning. He has served on the Dean’s Advisory Boards at NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences, the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and the Lebanese American University (LAU), and was previously Trustee at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Mr. Yahiayan is currently an Executive Council Member at NYIT’s School of Management. To these roles he brings his personal perspective as an educator who has taught in universities in Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to embarking on his international career, Mr. Yahiayan enjoyed a long personal relationship with the Diocese and St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral, were he was married and where his two children were baptized. He also has a strong family connection to the Diocese through his wife, the former Sylva Svajian, daughter of the late Dr. Stepan and the late Dr. Pergrouhi Svajian—both pillars of the Armenian Church in America throughout their generation.

“We are confident that Jacob H. Yahiayan will bring a broad vision, professional management style, and a strong commitment to quality to his new role as Diocesan Director of Administration,” said Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, the Diocesan Primate.

“I am delighted to have become a part of this organization,” said Mr. Yahiayan. “The Eastern Diocese has a solid record of achievement behind it, and I’m eager to add my own perspective and vision, to help guide it to the next level.”

The Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern) was established in 1898 under the authority of the Mother See of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Holy Etchmiadzin. Its headquarters at New York’s St. Vartan Cathedral complex is the spiritual and administrative center for more than 60 parishes, located from the eastern seaboard to the Rocky Mountains. For release on March 3, 2013: Continental Advisory Services, LLC (“CAS”), is proud to sponsor, for the second consecutive year, A Race to Stop MS; Climb to the Top 2013. CAS sponsored Mr. Gregory N. Yahiayan, as he raced up 66 flights of stairs to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck in Rockefeller Center.

A Race to Stop MS is held by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (“NMSS”). The NMSS organizes multiple fundraisers year round to allow supporters to participate and raise donations to aid the fight against multiple sclerosis.

Mr. Jacob H. Yahiayan, on behalf of CAS, sponsored Gregory, who ran to support a dear family member, Hermineh Yahiayan.

For release on March 2, 2013: Continental Advisory Services, LLC (“CAS”), is proud to announce its collaboration with The Queen’s Work Inc. (“QWI”) d/b/a East Ridge. With roots in New York State since the early 1960’s, East Ridge has provided recovery support and resources based on the Twelve Steps and Four Absolutes of the original program of Alcoholics Anonymous extended to all addicts and all addictions. Mr. Yahiayan has assumed the role of acting COO and Co-Head of Special Projects of QWI.

Over the past ten years Mr. Yahiayan has served on the advisory boards at The Lebanese American University, New York University, and NYIT. Mr. Yahiayan has recently been elected to the Board of Trustees at The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and was previously a Trustee at the Down Town Association in NYC.

The Queen’s Work, Inc. (“QWI”) is a religious organization incorporated in the State of New York in 1972 with no denominational affiliation or formal hierarchical structure. QWI’s and East Ridge’s primary mission is addiction recovery, extended to all addicts and all addictions, and incorporated into all aspects of daily life. This is achieved nationally and internationally though the publication of literature, a monthly print and online newsletter, multi-media outreach projects, and service headquarters support of groups around the world. On a local level East Ridge operates a recovery and retreat center, school, and farm which serve as a laboratory for living a sane and sober life and learning to grow along spiritual lines, using the principles of the All Addicts Anonymous program.

The concert, which will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City on November 5, 2005, features the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra and the Choir of Trinity Church, Wall Street. This year's concert will commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II and the 90th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

For release June 15, 2005: The Fulbright Scholar Program announced today that Elizabeth Cazazian was one of its scholarship recipients for the coming academic year. Miss Cazazian won the Fulbright for her proposal to rehabilitate an entire village in the African nation of Uganda. She is currently a Senior Associate at Continental Advisory Services, LLC, and a graduate student at both the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and the NYU Real Estate Institute.

For release June 6, 2005: Continental Advisory Services, LLC unveiled the automotive arm of Continental Luxury Brands to the East Coast’s automotive establishment at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance last weekend in Connecticut. The event also featured a Christie’s automotive auction attended by Jacob Yahiayan, Managing Member, who refused to match fierce bidding on a late-1950s Jaguar coupe. “We’re expanding our northeastern fleet,” said Mr. Yahiayan, “but not by paying auction house premiums for easy-to-find models. The Aston Martin–the new Vanquish in particular–is next for us.”
